Homeward Bound is a no-kill, non-profit, 501c3 dog rescue based out of Monticello, Minnesota.
We are a group of volunteers gathered together with one common goal...rescuing dogs. All our dogs are fostered in our homes with us where we get to know them better in order to ensure a proper placement. All the dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lymes tested, and dewormed before being adopted out. Here at Homeward Bound, we have a space in our hearts for everyone of every breed/mix, size, age, health, etc so we have a great mix of dogs to pick from
To adopt from Homeward Bound you must first fill out a preadopt application.
Our adoption fees on average are around $385. They are higher due to the high vet bills we incur from taking in dogs that require more extensive vet work such as heartworm treatments, dentals, surgeries, etc. We rescue all types of dogs including those with special needs and/or those who require extensive physical or psychological care. We believe every dog deserves a chance.
